Rows of handmade stoneware drying in the studio

Studio ceramics, Adelaide

The plates your favourite restaurants serve on, now on your table.

Stoneware shaped by an architect's hand and a geologist's eye, made for fine dining kitchens, made for yours.

Featured pieces

Small batches, no two the same.

The Erosion Wall

Every glaze begins
as a place.

Iceland basalt
Erosion
Sea-stone
Tideline
Jordan sand
Strata

Every glaze begins as a place. We chase how stone breaks, how it erodes, how time settles into a surface, then we find it again in clay.

The maker

An architect, then a ceramist.

Carla trained as an architect before she found clay on an exchange in Budapest. The same eye for structure and material now shapes every piece that leaves the studio.

What began as restaurant tableware for Adelaide kitchens is now a small practice built on one idea: tableware you can trace to a real pair of hands.

These plates changed how our dishes look on the pass. Every one is a little different, and our chefs love that.

I bought a single mug and came back for the whole set. The glaze feels alive in your hands.

Carla understood our menu before we did. The commission was a genuine collaboration, start to finish.
